Dear chrm members,
I just got promoted to be an HR Manager from my earlier position of Sr. HR Executive. I realize
that this new role is going to be way too different then my ex-role. Hence, I am very anxious and excited to take on this new responsibility and would like to ask these questions:-
Do you have any advice on how to become an effective manager?
What things I need to better take care of for this new role?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
The rules are largely universal and apply to all / any managerial positions.
And the key is not how to manage others, but yourself : your wellness, your emotions, your moods, your operating values, your relationships etc..
Time management or stress management - they are all essentially self-management. Who can control time ? - The clock is merciles. Who can deny stress ? It is ubiquitous.
I can be a Personal Life Coach for you and can coach you in all these. Please see www.hansyoga.com to know more. This coaching can be online and will include specific yoga-meditartion techniques to improve your being at all levels - physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.
All stress is spiritual isolation, and future HR activities will increasingly recognize this.
Be ahead of your time ! Best,

well, at first you will feel that way. You just have to be more confident and just focus on your work.
