Re: how to control attrition ...

Dear friend,

Attrition of employees have more than one reason always and the reasons depends on the location, work conditions, systems, stability of the organisation, HR practices in the organisation, opportunities for self developement for the employees, welfare measures & facilities provided by the organisation, employee interpersonal relationship etc.

If your workplace is in remote location, the organisation must provide or to creat the required infrastructure for the employees.

If work conditions are ot upto the mark, the organisation needs to bring immediate improvement in that area.

If interpersonal relationship between the employees is not at proper levels, the Management has to implement a communication code policy and reporting norms for the employees in the organisation. A proper survey shall be conducted in this regard and counselling with seniors shall be constantly made.

If proper HR policies like iplementation of rules for minimum wages ( At least) at par wages implementation, is not there, emplouees will never happy.

If opportunities for self development for employees are not provided like good promotion policy, role change, Training programs to improve skill set and knowledge base of the employees etc.

Re: how to control attrition ...

Dear,

Best way to retain the staff is induction, I come across that if the induction was not

proper and have no continue observation, the zest of employee joined time and after

3 month you will find lot of lathargic  attitude .

At first time if you give the right guideness

Re: how to control attrition ...

Dear Friend

The attrition topic explained clearly to every management of the organization

In most of the companies no one is listening to these issues at all and they

are trying to avoid discussing snce every issue involves cost and cost control

measures are implemented for all the issues in the organziation.  Hence i suggest

this message has to be sent to many company finance professions who is

not in a posititon to accept attrition

regards

Re: how to control attrition ...

Dear Friend,

I think one should look at root of it. Companies should be careful while selecting candidates i.e. efforts to retain should start with getting the right candidates. most importantly, selecting people who fit in the work culture of the company.
